I am absolutely obsessed with the ‘wrong number’ trope right now. Gagging for it. And, because of that, I have this idea in my head of a Little sending a sad ‘I miss my Daddy’ kind of message to a wrong number and, surprise surprise, finding himself a willing Daddy on the other end of the line. Cue some mild miscommunication/slapstick humour as they realise they’re talking to someone with a compatible kink and not a child/literal parent. OR MC #1 texts an image of himself in his onesie to the wrong number and finds himself someone very interested to help him explore his kink.
Then there’s the idea of a Little being in a rough spot and dialling a wrong number as they look for a friend to help them out, but accidentally calling MC #2 who (you guessed it) happens to be one very happy to help Daddy. It could be anything from running away from an abusive ex to having a flat tyre and no idea how to change it. I don’t need high drama, just for MC #2 to be an unexpected knight in shining armour.
It doesn’t even have to be kinky. We could go kink-free contemporary romance with the same kind of set up. MC #1 needs help, accidentally calls/texts MC #2 who comes running and voila! Instant connection. (I’m clearly in the mood for some swoony rescue moments, too.)
I know this sort of set up already exists, and as much as I might give my hand writing it at some point, I’d love to read some readily available books to scratch the emotional itch I’m having. Let me know your favourites that tick these boxes!

I love the texting a pic idea and the calling for help. Maybe even texting a pic showing him stuck or something or needing help putting on his onesie cuz can’t snap it ( would be hilarious all bent over cuz can’t get it snapped) and gets a person he doesn’t know who wants to be his Daddy. Great idea!
