Wheeeee!

Okay, I’m sort of cheating when I say this is a bunny because I don’t really have any plot to speak of. However, I am super inspired by my new (old old) workplace because…well, did I mention we have a slide? An honest-to-goodness grown up sized slide from the first floor offices down to the ground floor. (No, I do not work for Google.)

I take great glee in using the slide instead of the stairs.

And that got me thinking about creating a workplace setting in a novel which is essentially accidentally a Little’s paradise with a slide, or swing chairs, or beanbag workspaces, or any number of fun ideas. I feel like this goes hand in hand with my Boss/Employee plot bunny, now that I come to think of it. Perhaps the office is intentionally designed for Littles and the employees are all in the lifestyle? There’s a series in there…haha.

Where would you take this idea? What other fun things could we throw into an otherwise traditional office space?
