Vanilla Bunnies

So, I’ve been focusing a lot on my kink-free Contemporary MM romance lately, and that has put my mind into gear for similar reads. I have a whole slew of single dad plot bunnies bouncing around in my head, because that’s the trope my new series will be focused on (it’s my absolute favourite!), but I’ve also started thinking about other bunnies.

One I cannot get out of my head for love or money is similar to the Daddy Doctors plot bunny the Daddy Kink Facebook group I’m in. I’m imagining a series of MM romances all interconnected by the doctor/medical/hospital theme.

A bi-awakening for a recently divorced surgeon? Yes please.

A friends-to-lovers for an EMT and one of the hospital orderlies? Gimme gimme.

A rivals-to-lovers for two of the Emergency Department doctors? Sure.

A forbidden romance between a specialist and his patient? Eh, maybe.

A single dad whose kid broke their arm develops a crush on the cute triage nurse and keeps finding (increasingly ridiculous) reasons to visit the hospital? I’m here for it.

A second chance/’the one who got away’ romance between old college lovers (who split amicably when their degrees ended) who wind up working in the same hospital in whatever roles? PLEASE.

An age gap romance between a visiting specialist and the doctor who called him in for the consult? Especially if we get those tense, dramatic working together to save the patient vibes? Count me in.

The possibilities are kind of endless. It gives me Gray’s Anatomy/ER vibes.

Does a series like this already exist? I know there have been similar standalone books out there with medical themes (and hit me with titles for these, because I need to read/re-read them!)

As usual, the bunnies are vague, but the inspiration is there. Tell me what you’d do with any of these, or what you’d like to see happen!
